interalia studio is a cross-disciplinary practice operating within architecture, design, and research. Based in Copenhagen and Naples, we engage in projects of diverse scale — from product and furniture design to interiors and architectural works. Our clients range from private individuals to commercial entities.
We believe thoughtful design can help shape new narratives and spaces that foster repair, restoration, and reconciliation—responding to the world’s urgent needs with care, intention, and responsibility. Each project begins with a careful reading of its context — social, spatial, and material — to reveal and elevate what already exists.
Our approach blends intuition with precision, honesty with imagination. Guided by close collaboration — with clients, professionals, and local suppliers — we aim to craft bespoke designs that resonate deeply with their environment and those who inhabit them.
We take a material-focused approach to architecture and design. Each project becomes an exploration of texture, form, color, and structure — emphasising both the poetic and physical qualities of materials. Renovation, transformation, and resource-conscious construction are central to our practice. We treat all materials as valuable, recognising their potential for renewal and reuse.
The studio has deep expertise in the renovation of architectural heritage, with a particular focus on adaptive reuse and transformation projects that give new life to existing structures. All our products are designed and produced in Copenhagen and Naples, with a commitment to local manufacturing and made-to-order production — ensuring minimal waste and avoiding overstock.
Our expertise spans:
Founded in 2023 by architects Valeria Granillo and Enrico Pizzuti — each with over a decade of experience — interalia studio operates through a flexible, collaborative model. We assemble project-specific teams tailored to the scope and complexity of each commission, enabling us to lead intimate, small-scale projects or coordinate large, multidisciplinary efforts.
Our team brings together expertise in architecture, interior design, art direction, communication, and strategy. We believe that blending diverse skills and perspectives leads to richer, more meaningful outcomes.
